Hey there, I’m Ginger

I’m a Holistic Nutrition Coach and I love helping people heal and feel their best by fueling their bodies with a whole-food, nutrient-dense diet. My passion is for those with metabolic health issues such as insulin resistance, prediabetes, and type 2 diabetes.

All the way back in high school, I began to struggle with severe depression which only got worse with time. In my early 20s I was given the official diagnosis of depression and promptly put on medication. That diagnosis was followed by one of insomnia, anxiety, and eventually bipolar.

I was told there was no cure, and the only option was to manage for life with medication. I felt hopeless and defeated. The medications never worked for long, which meant a rollercoaster of meds. Many side effects required even more medications to manage those. I gained over 30 pounds, I was constantly in a haze, I had no motivation, and I lost interest in just about everything I had ever cared about.

At my lowest point, I discovered the keto diet. In over 20 years of seeing doctors, not one of them talked to me about my diet. It never dawned on me that my depression had anything to do with what I was eating. Well let me tell ya, within just a few months of eating a keto diet I was able to come off 5 medications, my brain was clear and sharp, my mood completely leveled out, my anxiety disappeared, and I very quickly dropped those 30 pounds.

  • Absolutely not! How long you’ll need to do keto, and even your personal macros on your keto diet will vary depending on your personal health goals and your metabolic health. This is all discussed inside the program so you can determine what is right for you.

  • Yes! Eating a whole food diet does take extra effort and thought, but it is absolutely doable with a busy schedule and even while traveling. Inside Keto Clear I teach you all the tips and tricks on how to fit keto into your busy life and how to navigate the world as you’re out and about.

  • No! I get it, everything is expensive right now and we all have a budget we’re working with. There is a perception that eating a whole-food diet is expensive, but it does not have to be. There are hundreds of keto products on the shelves nowadays, and buying them can be pricey. I don’t believe in that type of keto diet though. In Keto Clear, I encourage you to eat single-ingredient foods, which means shopping in the produce and meat section and those foods are incredibly affordable. There is the option to purchase supplements, but it is absolutely not required. There is so much we can do with just food, and that is always the first and main focus.

  • Absolutely! I do not do meal plans and instead, encourage you to learn how to build an appropriate keto plate. You are free to eat anything off the food list, you’ll just want to stay within the appropriate keto macros which will encourage ketosis.
